Let’s say there is a dog show in Stockholm, Sweden. There are 48 entries attending. 20 dogs and 28 bitches. The judge places four dogs in Best Dog and four bitches in Best Bitch. Finally the judge gave Best of Breed to the dog and Best in Opposite Sex to the bitch.
|Best of Breed||7p + 1p/beaten dog||7p + 47p = 54p|
|2nd Best Dog||4p + 1p/beaten dog of same sex||4p + 18p = 22p|

|3rd Best Bitch||3p + 1p/beaten dog of same sex||3p + 25p = 28p|

All nations in the Nordic region has their own national leaderboard. To make the final list a dog need to be placed in Best Dog or Best Bitch at least five times for five different judges. Only the top five results will be summed up for the total result. If a result in the list is marked red, the result is not counted due to multiple results from same judge. Only the highest result will be used for counting the total points. When a dog has five results or more the top five results will be marked green, showing what results are used to sum up the dogs total points.
All dogs placed in the National Leaderboards are combined in this leaderboard. The difference in this leaderboard is that every dog will have their top five results from all nordic countries. If a result in the list is marked red, the result is not counted due to multiple results from same judge. Only the highest result will be used for counting the total points. When a dog has five results or more the top five results will be marked green, showing what results are used to sum up the dogs total points.
Making a leaderboard for all nordic countries has been a real challenge. In Finland there are alot of dog shows, but only an average of 18 dogs entered to every show. In Denmark there are less shows, but there are and average of 27 dogs entered to each show. Therefore I have to give both Finland and Denmark a certain handicap when counting their results. Otherwise it would almost be impossible for Finnish and Danish dogs to make top twenty in the Nordic Leaderboard. On the Nordic Leaderboard, points from Danish shows are multiplied with 1.35 and points from Finnish shows are multiplied with 1.56.
The Leaderboard for Top Breeder is counting every breeders top five winning dogs in all nordic countries. Only the best five results for every dog is summed up for the total result.
